LAFC is becoming LOS ANGELES PREMIER FC

To our Soccer Family -- We have great news!

We are excited to announce that we are changing the name of our club from LAFC to LOS ANGELES PREMIER F.C. We believe this change best highlights the legacy of our club as THE Premier Club in Los Angeles County playing out of the Pasadena area!

As part of this process, we will be introducing a new logo and color scheme. Our primary color will be . . . . . PURPLE!!! Secondary colors will be White and Silver. We can’t wait to see our players in their new uniforms - instantly recognizable out on the field with our new colors.

We are partnering with ADIDAS to be our uniform supplier. ADIDAS is the leading supplier of soccer apparel and equipment in the United States, and recently signed a $200 million deal with Major League Soccer to be their sponsor for the next 8 years. Our past experience was outstanding and we are thrilled at the level of commitment they are once again showing to our club. ADIDAS will be a tournament sponsor for our 1st Annual SO CAL SUMMER SHOWCASE to be held August 12-15 in Pasadena.

Our retail partner for this upcoming season will be EUROSPORT which carries the largest selection of soccer gear and merchandise used by world class players and teams around the globe.

To our Loyal Families and Friends,

As each of you know, LAFC is and always has been a highly regarded, professional and well organized youth soccer club whose primary purpose is to serve the best interest of our players. It is our mission to work tirelessly to make each and every player the best that they possibly can be, in a fun and competitive environment. In this endeavor, we are continuously reviewing and evaluating what we can do to maintain a soccer environment that is second to none.

There are many exciting things happening with our club, including embarking on the National and State Cup journeys with our teams, participating in Far West Regional League, and other competitions that will further enhance our reputation as well as showcase the talents of our players to college coaches and scouts at the older ages.

We look forward with excitement to the upcoming 2011-2012 Coast Soccer League season as well as a continued partnership with CSL, a league that offers the highest and best competition in Southern California. In addition, we have decided to end our affiliation with the New York Cosmos and Cosmos Academy West. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors, and know that they will be successful in each of them.

In the coming weeks, we will share with you additional exciting announcements – all of which are designed to make us a stronger, more dynamic club than ever before. We hope to see each of you at the Casino Night on Friday January 28th, as we continue to fundraise to help keep us at the pinnacle of the youth soccer world.
