Led by Coach Alex Harrison, the U11 Boys finnished their summer capturing the Orange County Kickoff Classic title, defeating South Bay Force Blue in PK's.  The boys put forth a strong defensive effort, leading 1-0 at the half on a goal from Dylan Robinson, with an assist on a strong cross from Nick Ortiz.  South Bay came back, scoring one goal in the second half on a PK.  At the end of regulation play, Coach Alex instructed Keeper Reese Turknette to watch the eyes of the kicker and commit, and he did just that, making a diving stop on the first attempt.  Newcomer Jakob Cedergren scored the first LA Premier PK, then another from Dylan Robinson, Brandon Grandalski and Nico Boschetti.

 

With only a handful of returning players, this new U11 team has played 14 games together over the course of 4 tournaments far exceeding all expectations!!!  The boys are now looking forward to beginning the fall season.  

 

The 2011/2012 roster consists of:  Nico Boschetti, Jakob Cedergren, Aidan Currer, Ian Glasse, Alejandro Gomez, Brandon Grandalski, Spencer Harris, Eamon Hornish, Matthew Odom, Nick Ortiz, Vartan Pashayan, Dylan Robinson, Nick Sailer, Andrew Senane, Christian Sides and Reese Turknette.
